CMC Activity Gallery
Here are a few of our members in action. Club members mostly post pictures of climbing adventures, but you will also find the walking and mountaineering activities of members in the mix as well.

Want to Join An Active Climbing Club?
We are always keen to welcome new members to the Carlisle Mountaineering Club. We don’t put ourselves out there as an instructional club and so we ask that before you apply, you have made the effort to gain some experience in the basics of rope management, belaying and looking after yourself in the outdoors. That could very easily be with some of our existing members. Find Out More
That doesn’t mean we expect you to be leading E1 or WI IV before you make contact. Many of our active members are quite happy climbing in the lower grades and enjoy their adventures – getting as much satisfaction from their time outside as any of the higher performing individuals.
